Goal
I am currently a student at the University of North Texas at Dallas pursuing a degree in Communication and Digital Media with a minor in Sociology. I am passionate about communication, helping others, and developing skills that will prepare me for a successful professional career.
Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I have developed strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. My work in healthcare and customer service has taught me the importance of compassion, teamwork, and responsibility. In addition, my involvement in volunteer work and student leadership has allowed me to make positive contributions to my community while growing as a leader.
My goal is to obtain a position with a company that utilizes my education and skills in communication and digital media. I am committed to continued learning and professional growth and look forward to making a meaningful impact in my future career.
About me
My name is Brooke Brown, and I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Growing up, I was a shy child who found comfort in reading and writing poetry. As I got older, my love for reading remained and became one of my favorite ways to learn, relax, and explore different perspectives.
I come from a large family and am the second youngest of seven siblings. Although life was not always easy, I was raised by my mother, who taught me the importance of keeping God at the center of my life, pursuing an education, and becoming self-sufficient. One of my greatest inspirations is my GeGe, who serves as a co-pastor at our church. Her faith, strength, and dedication to helping others have encouraged me to stay focused on my goals and values.
Throughout my life, I have faced challenges, including bullying, the loss of close family members, and struggles with my mental health. Despite these obstacles, I remained determined to continue my education and work toward a better future. One of my proudest accomplishments is graduating from high school, despite many circumstances that seemed to be working against me.
My experiences have shaped my interest in people and communication. I have always enjoyed learning how people think and understanding different perspectives. This curiosity led me to pursue a degree in Communication and Digital Media with a minor in Sociology at the University of North Texas at Dallas. My goal is to build a career that allows me to use my education, communication skills, and passion for working with others while continuing to grow professionally and make a positive impact.
